MaxMSP Assignment 4

Have fun with Auzzie

Using the Auzzie package that you installed during class, create three signal chains (i.e., series of connected modules) that sound interesting to you. Follow these parameters:

• You should only use your build-in mic as the input for the chains.
• Your chains should start with the IN module and end with the OUT module.
• In addition to the IN and OUT modules, each chain should have at least THREE other modules.
• All modules should be different (except for the IN and OUT).
• Save TWO settings for each chain as Snapshots. Use this
documentation to complement what I showed in class.

Once you've created your three chains, think of one parameter in each chain that you think would be interesting to have controlled externally (for example, from a random generator, or an oscillator). Next week, I will give you small patches that you will be able to plug into your chains to control those chosen parameters.
